I did subsequently post that upon closer inspection is was actually a good deal, raising the bar not just for AmeriJet pilots, but for all ACMI. The rising tide lifts all boats.
I did read the entire thread. I posted anyway, for the reasons I stated, which I stand by.

Again, it doesn't matter if Amerijet's contract raises your boat. It's not your contract. Your dismissivness was that the contract didn't measure up to what you make, personally, and that it wasn't setting a standard for the industry.

Again, it doesn't matter.

What matters is that the Amerijet pilots agree, or don't agree with it. It's their contract.

The pilot group at AJT will be passing the contract.

Default Furloughing instructors

In a cost cutting move , Amerijet is letting about half of their Sim Instructors go, citing greatly reduced hiring in the future and the need to preserve capital. (VP Flt Ops)

Guess they gotta pay for those raises somehow.

The previous training manager went crazy about 6 months and hired too many that’s the real reason. He was let go due to this from what I heard.

That’s not true at all. In fact they continued to hire after he left. The problem is Sr. Management holding purse strings too tightly, wanting to do everything on the cheap, and micro-managing. The Dir of training hired after him quit after only5 months. They’ve had about 5 Training directors in year and a half. The seat has been vacant for 5 months now. When the guy you mentioned was hired. AJT had a verbal commitment to operate a bunch of 777’s, that were to come in 23-24.

The flight operations has no CRM program. (one example).

Default Come join us and see for your self

Come join us and see for yourself how decent the contract will be. It’s not perfect however it was completed in less than 2 years. AJT will be the highest in pay of the ACMI world.

Congrats on the large gains. Hopefully management can support the cost with current and future customers.

Default Amerijet CBA pay scale

What has changed with the work rules? The compensation looks good compared to the other ACMI's but is it still 16/12?
Are there split lines?
Are schedules good for people who live within 3 hours of MIA?
Do most junior lines start with DHL in CVG?

Just wondering what else has changed?
