Sith 60 hours guarantee (You almost NEVER break above this and you almost NEVER RIG unless you're on the road for a month+) first year FOs are making around 68K a year, it's pathetic. Regionals are better paid now with far better work rules and FAR 117 than it is here. There is a reason why this place is a revolving door.

$9.6k a month as a heavy CA? wow
scratch that one off the list. A DEC job at a regional looks better these days. Some of those guys that are check airmen are making over $400k

I just looked at the pay scales on Air Transport International | Airline Pilot Careers and if they are accurate, RJ FO's are making more than ATI Captains. How old is the CBA?

I remember interviewing for ATI before the Mesa pay increases, and they gave me the TBNT. It curshed me initially, but now I am THANKFUL they did that to me, otherwise I would've certainly been stuck at ATI right at this moment. They did me a huge favor

but… you did harp on me about our TA with K4. I was strongly against it, citing “when Covid is over, things will change. We deserve more”. You thought it was good enough and Connie couldn’t offer more. Here we are, K4 can’t get and hold pilots and we are almost as bad as ATI. I’m retired now, but it seems there isn’t a single yes voter to be found… typical.
My brother is counting down his year at ATI and has nothing good to say about them. The quality of new hires, it seems most of which don’t even have a Frozen ATP, are poor. The other issues there is the standz dept has apparently been through multi leaders in just a few months. And finally, apparently a semi-forced upgraded with the company pushing to get a blanket 1000hr P121 waiver in place.
just bad, bad, bad.
Rumor; some newbies are so poor at landing, captains either take every landing or encourage autolandings.

100% true that we are hiring guys with no ATP or jet time (IMO the 767 is NOT a beginner airplane, it can be done and I've seen it but this isn't a RJ)
It's not technically forced upgrades, but sorta is. Some guys specifically told the company they'd be willing to be put into the November upgrade class and instead were assigned August. So now they're stuck either saying no and being barred for a certain amount of time or screwing over their families to go to training.

I have had b00mer captains slam the **** out of the 767 and shout out "CARRIER LANDING" after they do it like it's funny. Don't think that all the captains here at ATI are saints.

Thank you 35 year airline veteran. You're an inspiration to us all. Never having worked unless you wanted to. And not going to work if you weren't getting paid. Please post other inspirations so that we may emulate you.
