Dude ...
I almost hate to dignify your reply with a response but ... I'm taking a 6 hour pay hit with 4.a.2.b (6 x 238/hr = $1428/mo. That's more than $17,000/yr!). I'm sorry if you don't feel that's significant and that I wont feel it, I do (I'm still in my f/o house, still married to the first wife, don't own any expensive toys).
Maybe unlike many at FedEx, I've been furloughed. You've got a lot of nerve telling me about how some will be taking a 100% pay hit. Fortunately, I had a working wife, I was still in the Reserves and I had marketable job skills and I was able to land a VERY GOOD non flying job ... I was lucky.
It's thanks to guys like me that you're not living in a cardboard box under a bridge right now, telling your mentally ill buds how you used to be an airline pilot. I ALWAYS buy the first round of beers ... rest assured, if I can figure out who you are, you'll be eating alone.
Best Regards, (no smiles)

First, cry me a river about your 6 CH loss. I'm down almost 10 CHs in March from the old normal. I don't need to multiply by any fancy 238/hr (mine ain't that much) and come up with some big number to waive under someone's nose. My PERCENTAGE loss is bigger than yours.
Second, it's not due to 'guys like you' that he's still here, it's due to the CONTRACT. Apparently, if it were up to 'guys like you', he'd have the wonderful opportunity to stick around as long as he could put up with your puling about how you're out 'over $17,000/year'.
Lastly, I love the unity building your Shared Sacrifice message has created. Next time you feel the need to boo-hoo on here about 4.A.2.b., please don't...

Word in RGS is that if we furlough, there is no guarantee that BLG's would return to the previous level due to the furlough. There would still have to be change (we can believe in) in the economy. O was quite specific about that one. Not saying it's right or wrong... just relaying the message.

I'm taking a 12 to 8 hour pay hit. Used to average at least 72 hrs, then was getting 68, now lucky to get 60 hrs. For me that works out to ($236 * 8 * 12; or $236 * 12 * 12) between $33,984 and $22,656 /yr.
You are not the only one suffering, and it seems to me you are not suffering that much. My only point is we are all taking hits, some more than others. I don't think a shower-room contest of "mine's bigger" does anyone any good.

You forgot to mention that we are still working 15 Reserve days for that pay cut!
