I look forward to our eventual meeting Mr. Tool. Back off the running and hit the weights, you'll need it.

Too bad the Teamster days of baseball bats and strong backs has faded into the history books. You wouldn't have lasted 5 seconds in the good ole days!

Do us all a favor and go back under the rock you crawled out from under recently. I'm sure your friends in low places will welcome you back.

Keep running Mr. SCAB. Don't look in the mirror -- you won't like the view. Your small conscience will eventually haunt you.

At what point do you start ignoring him? With your rants about kicking his "arse" you really detract from any credibility you would have had. Now I suppose you want to meet me out back too?

Gentlemen, let's focus on the positive. FH is not worth getting hot under the collar about. HE IS ONE OF A FEW. Not going to make a difference no matter what crazy stuff he blathers. Keep the faith. Here in Subic right now and wish all of our pilots had these guy' s resolve. We would have a contract in a week!

What the MEM guys don't seem to understand is that by drafting and volunteering, they are almost guaranteeing we will have to take this to a strike. If everyone would decide on their own to stop working extra, the company would have to negotiate with us because they rely upon that extra work. But with all the fools drafting and volunteering, the company is getting along okay and so they have no economic motivation to negotiate in any quality way. Consequently, we'll continue down this dead end road and end up "forced" to strike. I hope not, but I don't see how it will go any other way.

And I don't want to hear one more fool suggest that we have to continue draft and volunteer because to stop would violate the RLA. That's absolutely wrong, it's not at all the situation AA was in, and quit using that as an excuse to continue your own draft and volunteer actions!

I was just told a story from an LAX FO. Last week, he got called for a draft trip, one leg, DH home. Turned it down. While waiting around in ops for time to pass (waiting for his JS home), the Capt showed up for his trip, same scheduled flight that was offered as draft. No FO on the pairing - two hours goes by - No FO, still. Flight never went...FedEx didn't make any of the PSP.

MEM R-24 Capt got assigend Hotel Stby in ANC this week.

It's amazing how much more is involved in day to day ops as a flyer for any airline. Reading threads like this get me all reved up. Best of luck FedEx.

It was the situation at Delta.

I suggest you read this in preparation of your court date.

I read it. So what? Name me one Delta pilot that was incarcerated, fined or indicted under this court order?

Now tell me how many dollars ALPA paid in fines due to this order?

Now tell me what happened to the Delta pilot's contract after this order went out?

Now tell me why you would waste any of our time with this worthless scare tactic?

I realize it is summer, but looking at the MD11 F/O VTO's for July in MEM there might be hope ! Originally 76 in the bid, 86 written ! Looks like some of us are using not selling vacation time over the summer.

There were only 48 reserve lines to start with so that should leave about 38? Not many.

Fly Safe and well rested !

I've been trying to swap away a couple of RFO trips with open time. I kept getting "Insufficient reserves." Evidently you can't drop a trip unless TWO reserve pilots are available for that trip's footprint.

And I also repeatedly tried to drop every R day in my carryover. They've quit even responding to those (it's been ~ 20 hours).

A word of warning: if you have carryover, don't expect to bid a VTO and get rid of it. They protect minimum days off, that's all. They told me to "just request to drop" them....
