I think you mean that you have failed to acknowledge my points which you will have to face up to one day. Also, you have no idea what plane I fly or seat I am on so don't pretend you do. Just stick to the subject Mr Grumpy Pants.
Or it may be the case I don't know what airplane your dad flies. Good luck son, you'll need it.

There is a quote for you FoxHunter.

Maybe you should read the contract and become a bit wiser.

I do not know if it has ever been grieved or not. Just how do you think it could be proved? So much goes on behind the curtain at skeds that the pilots never see.

BTW have some other younger guy/gal teach you how to use the quote function of the Board. I thought all young guys were computer savy. Hope you're still on the 727.
I would venture to say that is is some delusional senior Captain that thinks Fred is going to take care of him. The younger guy knocked you and your "ME ME ME" idiology out of the park. Answer his question instead of calling him names. What have you done Fox Hunter to help us get a contract?

Funny you should mention my Dad, although wildly inappropriate and in such a patronizing manner. You see, my Dad was a pilot. A damn good pilot at that. He loved his job but when it was time to retire he did so with dignity and not kicking and screaming about some perceived unfairness. I am proud of him, his career and the example he set for me to follow. It's a shame not all pilot's approaching age 60 don't follow it as well. The likes of you wouldn't have been fit to carry his flight bag and I would hope you have the decency not to bring him up again. Now, do you want to say something about my Mother or just **** MGP?

Don't hold your breath waiting for an answer Hog. The first rule of not having any ideas to counter with is to attack. As far as what he has done to help get us a contract, he avoided that question once. I was raised to believe actions speak louder than words so I think we have our answer. Here's another question though: Fox's buddy Non Member Bob posted this tidbit on another thread.

"My friend, Chuck Henry, recently said that the pilots at FedEx really need to go on strike so that they can learn the lessons first hand. I am in somewhat agreement. If you are not going to listen to those who have fought the battle, then you need to learn it for yourself. I will not be joining you on the picket line this time, nor will some of the others whom I have mentioned."

Since Fox seems to follow Non Member Bob's line of thinking pretty closely, does this include him? You can read it for yourself but Non Member Bob's reasoning is why should he support our picket line when we don't support his ability to fly past age 60. You can read it for yourself here.

http://forums.airlinepilotcentral.co...?t=3643&page=8.

Pretty enlightening to say the least.

I do believe it is the younger entitlement ideology that is really the problem.Talk about "ME ME ME", believe that comes from the "M" TV.

Sorry big guy but I got to pipe up over that one---.

The whole age 60 debate boils down to two pilot groups: 1) those who will be captains for 5 more years if it changes, and 2) those who will be f/o's for 5 more years if it changes.

Call us group 2 guys anything you want, but the "entitlement ideology" comes from (your) group 1.....

Hmm! Not at all. Myself, "group 1", hired as a F/O, 8+ years furlough, took first available Captain Bid=16years. Others ex-EAL, BNF, CAL

You, "group 2", 4 year Captains, 10 year widebody Captains. Sorry Huck, it will change, and you still have your 10 year widebody Captains.

Wow! I would beg to differ. There is one pilot group and we are all in it. You may be an FO for 5 weeks, 5 months, 5 years, 5 times as long as you wish! Most important is the business plan and financial health of your employer. Retirees will affect you, but not as much as you might think.

CAL was not the airline I thought it was when Bob Lavender and I were hired. It changed. So did we.

I am still at CAL, an ALPA member, and have come to the conclusion that the age 60 rule is bad policy. To remove trained, healthy, productive workers arbitrarily from the workforce is just foolish.

Yes, I want to work into my 60's. At the same time, I know contemporaries who want to retire as soon as they can. Don't deny retirement to those that want it. Don't deny work to those that want it.

To say that "that is the way it has always been" as have other posts is to deny the only constant in our business: Change.

I wish you only the best with your contract!

Default Bottom Line

FoxHunter, F.H., ******y Homo, whatever you want to call yourself....

You are quite the bold, "tough-guy". Wrapping yourself in the protection of your anonymity like a condom on an unfortunately small unit.

You crack me up with your attempt at "educating the masses" with your pathetic spew of ineptitude. Stop wasting our time with your lame posts and go fly another trip at straight time.

I'm calling you out brother. You talk about the "ME" generation. Well, the "ME" generation has a new rep -- ready, willing, and able to give you a taste of some down home ass-whoopin'. You talked about how physically fit you are in previous posts -- trust me, you are woefully inadequate to hang with me brother. Place and time. Place and time.

You are an antagonist. I like that. I can tell you are a coward too. I think that's funny as well. Guys like you are all talk until they get their nose smashed and cry to Momma. You are all talk and no action. Typical non-member. Whether you pay dues or not -- you are a non-member to the core. You are an embarassment to the entire crew force.

You are simply a SCAB waiting for the opportunity to stab your fellow pilots in the back. I'm sure your wife and kids are proud of you -- of course, I'm sure they have no idea you play on your computer all day. Retreat to your dark hole jerkwad.

The only acceptable reply is -- place and time. But, you don't have the balls.

Can't wait to hear the replies from the masses on this one! Professionalism aside, this dude needs a well-deserved a$$-whoopin'.
