Hey now, don't ruin years of marketing. Jared would be crushed.

Sorry, I try not to pontificate about what people eat, but I always feel bad when I hear people talk about eating healthy at Subway. But, still better than McDs and such. And don't get me started on the scooby snacks.

Now wait a minute. I don't own a Subway restaurant or anything, but....

-I typically take at Subway a 6 inch turkey on wheat bread with no cheese. This sandwich has 280 calories, about 3.5 grams of fat, and very little cholesterol. I usually have them put "the works" on it with no dressing. I suspect that eating a head of lettuce might be a little more healthy.

I'd like you to recommend to me a quick and easy lunch that you find healthier than this. And do it for less than $4-

Dude has an Ironman logo as his avatar, so odds are he is pretty nutty on nutrition. Subway and lunchmeat are just fine to eat in moderation for normal people.

Now excuse me as I fry some Baloney to dip in mayonnaise while I drink grain alcohol while watching football.

And that means exactly what?

-I myself run 6.2 miles per day, my daily maintenance run around Fort Lauderdale. I don't time my self, but I typically run about a 7:30 pace. That means about 7:30 per mile. I have several stops- Andrews avenue is the worst.

I run Shelby Farms in Memphis on a regular basis. I can't run early in the morning, since I need a few hours to wake up. I run two laps around Shelby Farms north track.

It means that most things are OK in moderation, and some people are more anal about some stuff than others.

I'm just saying that lunchmeat is not good for you, turkey or not. I know what the numbers are, but that stuff is still packed with chemicals, nitrates, and who knows what else. But you're right, the way we are forced to eat on the road sometimes, it's probably the least worst of the bad stuff. I was just pointing out that guys think that just because they're eating at Subway, they think it's healthy. But the reality is, it's not the best thing in the world, just sometimes the best option.

And HireAstarPilots, that's awesome that you're running 43.4 miles per week. By the way, if you don't time yourself, how do you know that you're running 7:30's?

Whatever you know or think about Chick-fil-A -- keep it to yourself!

My grandpa always said "there is nothing like a fried bologna sandwich and a bowel movement."

He lived until 93 years old and smoked and drank whiskey like a fish.

That's how he rolled......................

Think how long he would've lived if he didn't smoke or drink...
