Default Days off

We get 12 or 13 off a month at a minimum depending on a 30 or 31 day month. It's not uncommon to be home for a day or few at the beginning of your work days if you don't fit into scheduling mix.

What are you sending to the scheduling department. I would like to know so I can send that department a larger quantity and send it more often. I want these days off at the begining or the end of my 18. This may occur once a year, you guys make it sound like it is a monthly occurrence. Please let me know who to bribe.

When I was home based I never sat around when I had a line...well hang on, I take that back. I saw around, just not at home. I was one of the day one exports to RSV...

The disparity between experiences varies greatly. Some guys have good trips and nice schedules (relative term used loosely) and some have nothing but hellacious experiences. It has nothing to do with seniority and everything to do with luck.

When you have 12 days off and the first 4 LCAL days you're sitting at home I consider that 16 days off. No restrictions on what you can do on those LCAL days just have to be Able to return a phone call within 2 hours.

I sat around so much I was about to go non current before I went to upgrade relatively recently. I even called and asked to go to work to get some extra time under my belt before I went to sim... Maybe that's it. Ask to go to work and be left at home. Hahaha

Is this a for serious statement? Or some kind of joke or? You're a hard one to read.

I have done more for this pilot group in the last 6 months than the ExCo himself has done since he took the seat.

I'm not here to defend myself, I'm just here to voice some of what it's really like so that heroes of justice like yourself aren't the only ones feeding a line about change for the better, yet your name is nowhere to be found on the Union Volunteer list...
