Didn't Omni furlough out of seniority order just a couple of years ago due to different types of aircraft?

Wow! Well there ya go. Boeing does the class and its not really a class so to speak. You go in like Noahs ark.....two by two. He/she will be junior to me at least. Not to bash Omni but that's kind of how it goes here sometimes. The good news is we will continue to hire on the light twin and you will get numbers beneath you pretty quick.

Thank you and congrats on the 777. I interviewed about two weeks before you and am still waiting on the call, but I bet the 777 folks were hand selected, and with my qualification I don't see myself being one of the few that were picked for the 777, but odder things have happened. Good luck in training!

Anyone in the later June 75/76 class care to share your interview date?

Thank you. I really don't get it myself. I used to fly for ATA but that was 2006, so who knows. I was surprised by the call.

Did yall just email an attached resume to the link they provide? Did you include a cover letter?

I emailed a resume and cover letter to the link, faxed in the same thing, and snail mailed it in via certified mail. I wanted the job bad!

Good luck! They have not been doing much interviewing since March, but word is they are going to resume in late June or early July. I have 2 friends that I am going to try and get on with us.

I did the same thing. Email, and snail mail in a big envelope with confirmation. I figured if a thousand dudes emailed a resume and that is kept in a computer file ... I'd be there. If 50 dudes snail-mailed a crisp packet ... I'd be there too. Don't know which one worked but something did, I'm here.

Best of luck. I hear the same thing thing that they are likely to start up again. The fact that Rep. Shuster withdrew his amendment to HR 658 (Pilot Fatigue bill) and I believe that we will fall under the new rules, might also ramp-up some interviews. Just speculation though.
