A320/321???
What are they doing with those?? freight or pax?? Who will be flying them ? Are 767/777 pilots going to be forced into it? Or are pilots going to be hired specifically for those airframes??
This is the first I've heard about this - was there a memo I missed?!?

Pilots will likely be junior assigned. Omni is having problems finding qualified applicants at wide body pay rates, let alone narrow body rates, which are substantially less.
Sounds like yet, another ATSG/Omni train wreck in the making. Time will tell.

Look at how long it took Omni to get the Patriot airplanes on the certificate. And those types are already on the certificate!

Rumor on the street is two early production dilapidated 321s that no reputable operator would come within a five mile radius of. Apparently to be used for ICE charters.

Yeah this are the airframes but I don’t know where they’re coming from or the condition. And keeping home asking still doesn’t change that it would be a significant QoL decease in many ways. If the company tries to pull this off without a contract watch every single person they try to put on there walk out the door.

Small correction. Atlas is not home based. We have a "Gateway Travel" program--which means, company paid ticket from your Gateway Airport (local home airport) to your base.
