I just left the HQ last week for INDOC. We were told it's in the final stages. The company manuals and checklists have been FAA approved/signed/stamped. I can say that's true since they've been sent out to our iPads. They should be doing the proving runs as we speak. They are anticipating the 121 certification to be complete by end of March, hopefully a little before. Take it as you want to. I'm just passing along what we were told from the DO during class.

Whoever it was that posted that captain pay is 60k, you're a little off. Base pay is 70k, plus $30/FLIGHT hour (not gate to gate) as a yearly bonus, and $350/day worked over 16 days. If it's changed recently I'd like to know because I was given these numbers during my interview.

70K is still correct. Spoke to HR today for a friend. Looking for two more FO's for a March 21st class.

Not sure on E120 pay. Never asked since I have no interest in flying the props. BTW you will know what plane they are offering you before you finish the interview. It's not like the airlines where you bid during INDOC.

I am curious, could anyone at Via Air confirm that there is a base in MT somewhere? The reason I ask is, I saw an ad for FO's on the orange site and it listed MT in the base options. Thanks.

There is no base in MT. The bases are Laughlin, NV, Atlantic City, NJ and Tunica, MS. The company does have home basing for pilots, in that they will airline you to where ever they need you to start your trip, and fly you back home at the end of the trip.

I have a little over 2000 TT, and 790 Multi. Could you give some information about the part-time positions, how does it work, minimum days required to work, etc.

Thank you.
