Swift air

Ok? And?... when I was there we had overnights and could maximize your pay. Those now with day trips will have a hard time making money, most trips less than 9hrs. So not sure what your point is. Just says basically left at the right time, which was way before this even happened anyway at silver.

Um
So ok to comment about Silver and that you are glad you no longer work there but not about your current airline. Then attack me for letting others know how bad it is, you know, like many other APC forums, Well, ok then.

Swift air
First off the difference is I wasn't telling anyone to steer clear of silver. Nor was I bashing the company, I have many good colleagues still there and many that have come to Swift as well. We all understand the game. It was a comment of "man I left at a good time".
At least I can say I've had the first hand experience in these airlines to say how day to day is. Different for someone who has never hit the line to begin with. That's like someone that said "I was in the army..... but I never finished boot"
you don't have to worry about the scary company haunting you anymore. Hopefully you'll find the perfect place for you.
For everyone else I just try to help with the current info.

Ok
You can try and paint the rosy picture if you want Mexi but its history speaks of itself and will again. Management has had, not one or two, but multiple failures. You gain nothing by going there and people need to be warned of what they would be getting themselves into. Please do not denigrate the military by comparing it to such a place.
I'll make you a promise. I've said all I need to say and won't say anymore. I will let it speak for itself. I will not be the one posting about what happens in the future just like Eastern. Guess who took over Eastern!
I do wish you all the best.
Btw, have you seen Deltas, Endevaors, new pay and work rules?

Not looking for a fight
These boards are for information shared and debated. You do not have to agree with me. Many people post various things about airlines here on APC, the good, the bad and the ugly. The bashings that go on at the regionals are interesting. One says the other lowered the bar and blames Mesa for everything. Then how bad things are at Atlas and Spirit etc etc etc...
Not sure why it seems that this airline is so special. I am not making it personal. I am not attacking anyone. I am providing information based on what I know, that's it. The history is there and has been. Dynamic, partly owned by management of this airline, has just shut down! Yet another carrier met its demise at the hands of this management. Then there's the Eastern debacle. See where I am going with this. Not a fight nor personal.
There is never been a better time to go to a regional. I know it is not prefect but you will not be going to Caracas. You will have pass travel, a schedule, commuting clauses, bonuses etc... Once you get on that 121 supplemental bandwagon, it's hard to get off. That is NOT a pun.
It will fail, I am telling you. Just like many said Eastern would. That was ok but not here? It's called Stockholm Syndrome.
Now if need to bash me, go right ahead or just ignore me. Please don't tell me and others that it's the best place ever because it is not.

Actually, Dynamic and Swift shared a common investor. There's a big difference between that and having the same management. Regarding Eastern, Swift had no connection to the management there. Eastern's majority stakeholder became a minority holder in Swift in exchange for the assets and several contracts after they failed, for all intents and purposes. If you want to denigrate Swift's management for past deeds, fine. Don't attempt to muddy the waters with bad information. Is Swift perfect, heck no! But they are growing while everyone else in their segment of the industry is stagnating at best. They definitely have to up their game with what they are offering if they expect to grow like they want to. Believe it or not, there are a few of us that like what we do, and enjoy our job,,, just need to feel better appreciated
