MEXI, again wrong. People from the class prior to September are just now starting IOE. Have a look at the schedule they put out today. Look at the bid for November, any people from Aug, Sept, classes on it - not talking about the people who were unfortunate to have to return to this mess - but the new names that are on the schedule, are from the class prior to September. Meanwhile people are being pressured to work, sell vacation, etc....
Swift need to slow down, get the house in order before further expansion.

10 starting in Dec, hopefully helps to start balancing out. Hope they all show up.....! I know many of us are awaiting relief. Hiring was just started late and not aggressively before the summer.

You are right.. The way MNPS made it sound was the EAL guys are a bunch of tools just sitting around collecting. Its just a way of creating conflict.
As far as training, 2 crews that I can positively say just finished and went home for a few days before OE. Another 4 crews I think, start Tue here in MIA and thats not counting the Dec ones starting in GSO. I heard 1 guy did not finish training from this last round.
Relief is coming but prob not as fast as you guys want specially during holidays.

Seems they’re behind even on basing some of the new guys awaiting OE. Scheduling manager has been out a lot on medical causing delays to bids etc. Just why we need more automation on our scheduling.
I think the seniority list sent out was October’s which didn’t have everyone that has been completed. Scheduling is just overwhelmed I think.

2018, with or without representation
Folks, we continue to work hard, and the company is Bragging about how much money they are making. But wait.....
We as an employee group are constantly complaining,
Complaining about Street Captains,
Complaining about bid lines, and seniority lists
Complaining about 6 early morning Havana doubles in a row,
Complaining about scheduled days off ( 1 day off between scheduled flights)
Complaining about special deals for favorite people,
Complaining, complaining, complaining....
while getting nothing but lip service from the D/O, C/P, and the rest of them.
Well, LETS STOP complaining, and seek outside representation. Fairness will not come unless WE, AS A GROUP, collectively voice our demands. As long as we stay silent, or perhaps just quit, the company will continue to ABUSE US.
Some of us would like to stay here and work with Swift to make things better, not just "quit if you are not happy here". That i'm sure will be the response from said favorites, but the rest of us should demand better working conditions, and FAIRNESS. 2018 is here, let's do better.
