Can someone please pm me about the company pay rates, training and life in general at Swift?
Met a capt recently, very senior, said he really liked his job. Just a bit skeptical as he’s been employed there from very early on.
Thank you so much!!

Complaining about 6 early morning Havana doubles in a row,
Complaining about scheduled days off ( 1 day off between scheduled flights)
Complaining about special deals for favorite people,
Complaining, complaining, complaining....

while getting nothing but lip service from the D/O, C/P, and the rest of them.

Well, LETS STOP complaining, and seek outside representation. Fairness will not come unless WE, AS A GROUP, collectively voice our demands. As long as we stay silent, or perhaps just quit, the company will continue to ABUSE US.

Some of us would like to stay here and work with Swift to make things better, not just "quit if you are not happy here". That i'm sure will be the response from said favorites, but the rest of us should demand better working conditions, and FAIRNESS. 2018 is here, let's do better.

Ok so help make it better! MSGA Make Swift Great Again!

Bunch of us trying to create an in house committee to address these issues such as hotel, training, hiring, schedules etc. But like everything it takes work and not everyone is willing to stretch their hand out to help so keep that in mind. Those of us doing it can’t do it by ourselves. Even if somehow someday this place unionized, it needs volunteers to run it.

I believe they’re going to make an upgrade class of 5 beginning of this year. So at least that’s something promising.

It’s becoming a big company with a small company mentality, so it’s going to take breaking some eggs to fix the problems.

I don't have a stake in this game when it comes to the good and bad about Swift but I would think that there would be pilots lining up to fly for you guys. For some kid who has his sights on a major, wouldn't it be more beneficial to have 121 time with a 737 type than in some RJ?EJ? Unless it's an upgrade issue I would think they would be lining up at the door. I was offered a class and was mostly a helo driver. Just sounds like an much overlooked opportunity.

Believe it or not it’s tough competing with the regionals now a day. The pay comparison between an RJ and a 737 here is almost alike. Not to mention the basing. If we went all home basing the flood gates will open. Biggest challenge is people don’t know who we’re are, the exposure is minimal. Been trying to get us on airline apps for the longest!

We have a wealth of different experience from corporate, RJs and military. So selection is not just based on one avenue alone. We look for guys who have turbine experience whether it’s on a corporate jet or turboprop. Obviously have to meet our requirements and FAA ones as well.

They have a career gateway program in the works, which I hope helps increase the number of pilots.

Is Mesa Gateway still one of your bases? And if so, is it junior? What's a typical schedule?

Thanks "B"
