Swift air

Upgrade time at this point probably about a year.
Don’t get on the wrong side of scheduling as they used to have a veto vote in upgrades.
Don’t complain.
Don’t turn down overtime.
Don’t refuse a duty extension.
Don’t ever argue with the CP, he holds a grudge.
Then it’s one year right? Maybe?
Unless street captains come in horizontally from Eastern/Extra?

Not all of them, we only took a handful of Eastern Pilots. Same thing with xtra.
What most don’t understand is that when you’re short FOs you can’t pull 20 FOs off line to upgrade them. The airline would literally shut down. Supply and demand.
Least I’m happy to see 12 pilots this month starting upgrade. Progress somewhere along the lines! Especially those who worked their butt off to get the 1000 SIC.
With the latest additions we’ll be somewhere in the neighborhood of close to 160 pilots give or take.

If they use the ‘seniority’ system.

Scheduling doesn’t get to tell anything about your career.
I complain all the time. It’s what I do best. But there’s ways to handle being disgruntled.
Don’t want overtime, don’t answer the phone. That’s what I do.
The extension that’s all pilot decision. At the regionals if you refused an extension you had to do a fatigue report. Which isn’t a big deal. If you’re going to say no then be a big boy and brace for flak. They can’t legally schedule an extension, things happen. But I know if I’m flying and I don’t have my overnight bag and I can legally make it work I’ll get r done.
Don’t argue with CP, present the facts and document everything or GET the facts too.
Again they always say they won’t hire street captains but then demand arises due to flying they took and they’re met with the same issue. It’s a cycle in this charter industry. Least they’re not furloughing. Either way if you’re bypassed when it gets to you you’ll be above all these cherries.

Depends on the program if it’s PPO or high deductible I think family is anywhere from $600-800 a month. It’s expensive. You and children it’s about $200 to $400 a month.
Not sure what this years rates will be

Upgrade time at this point probably about a year.
Bases as of now IWA STL CLE MIA, future basing SAT and ENV.
European pay 120hr guarantee, almost $90/day per diem, completion bonuses for 3, 4, 5 months ranging from 12-20K. One ticket a month for significant other to come stay.
Classes right now will probably resume about August time frame.
Class of about 22 starting on April 23rd. Xtra pilot coming to Swift I think only about 16 coking over.
First set of upgrades doing their OEs and fed rides next week.
No Pay raises announced yet still as listed on APC.

Swift should have a logo with a blue falcon on the tail.
For real.
