That doesn’t seem to be the case. If I remember I don’t think many if at all any eastern guys went to Europe.

It’s been a tough time in Europe for swift. 2 acft incidents over the span since they began in May.

As far as contract future for next year? Who knows, it’s been a rough summer on all contracts. AOGs and short on pilots due to training back ups have really hit them hard. Summer flying in the US will be coming to end here mid August which will hopefully give them time to re-group.

The over run appears to be due to hydroplaning. That airport is famous for water pooling on the surface, and no grooves. I'm betting that contract is not going to be renewed no matter if the investigations determine neither crews were at fault.

Pesky thing with the FAA is the reverse burden of proof.

Contributed by a long landing.... well beyond the touchdown zone.

I haven't seen video, so I am going to reserve judgment until I have more data. I'm sure there were multiple links in the chain

He touched down beyond 3k down the runway . I'd say that might be the issue

Know your Company position. Having served on numerous safety/accident committees, 2 incidents in 2 months will trigger an extensive FAA investigation. Never question a split second flight crew decision. Stay with the facts. The would of, could of, should of is hangar talk. First : Unless there are outstanding circumstances and ( I hope that there are ) These incidents are going to initially point at the flight crew. Second : There were no injuries? There is no such thing. Where there is an airline, there is money. Expect neck and back injuries to start popping up along with passengers claiming PTSD. The ambulance chasing vultures are circling , guaranteed.
