Yeah, it's pretty nice. They only recently started doing it after we complained heavily with so many people sitting in the crew room for no reason. Only 3.75 hrs left before the shift ends today! I feel like I'm gambling. If they call, I lose. If they don't, free day at home.

Both; Lateral moves (but they are direct to the Left seat of the ERJ. Most don't even complete IOE as an FO before they upgrade). We have a a number of Return to Industry guys as well. (Some guys already had the 1,000hrs Part 121 SIC previously, so again they upgrade very fast and the income is "not bad" at $63/HR.

1500 was military, there are a couple of them. 24yo was a chief pilot daughter, I think. She was on the TSA ads for a long time. Don't get too frustrated by it. Just accept the fact that life is not fair and keep pushing towards your goal. You have to look out for number one and don't step on number two.

Not a chief pilots daughter. Her mom was Delta.... Not a CP though. I flew with her at TSA. It is what it is in this industry. She'll probably end up doing our IOE at mainline years down the road.
