I don’t think the attachment worked, although it could just be my phone. What is it?

Around 275 pilots by industry standard.
I don’t think that only flying 20 aircraft would support the overhead Compass has. They are either going to get more flying (80% or better if the Delta flying they are losing), go under, or be bought up.

Ehhh... Correct me if I'm wrong, but SkyWest has been the first on the scene with every airline hitting a rough patch in recent memory. It's opportunism at it's finest: hiring a trained, proven 121 guy over a brand-new-cfi-new-hire is gold.

The ALPA email is just grandstanding. Showing that they are working on the company. It's all negativity, all the time, and I get that those boys deal with the worst of the industry every damn day... But I'm choosing to sit on the sunny side of the fence. Until the night before the SkyWest interview cutoff, anyway. 🤷😂

I understand the poaching, but this poaching took place on our Comply; miserable sign.

They said in the memo it was part of their contractual obligation to post it per the drawdown agreement. By doing the drawdown agreement they can control the when/where/how to some extent and protect us from 36 aircraft disappearing overnight. Big daddy D doesn't care about Compass and wants their new DC carriers staffed, so thus the agreement to post it, the job fairs, etc. OO and RP will be growing and therefore need our pilots, and want to poach us.

I saw that. And I hope it’s true. Like MSP never closing and RNP getting approved.

Woaaah

I’m a negative guy, and this thread just got a little too negative for me, so I’ll share some info.

I have some inside info from MSP and some other places. I cannot/will not share specifics, but if anyone is on the fence about leaving... wait 2 more weeks. Like they said on the employee call... in this business, it’s best to keep the company’s cards close to the chest. Something great is coming and no one wants to let the cat out of the bag and mess it up (if messing it up is still possible at this calendar date). The company would have preferred to keep it more of a secret but the DL announcement forced their hand to prevent panic.

There is more evidence to support this but it’s not my place to share it.

Good news is coming soon. Some posts in this thread seem to be on to something.

But like I said, keep our cards close guys
