Couple questions:

1. Does the company pay for the uniform?
2. What is your cancellation pay?
3. Average time on reserve?
4. How is the training department? What do they expect after your 30 day study period? Number of sims?

Can someone pm me the contract or post it? I tried searching, but could only find the FA.

1) Yes, and you get a unifrom allowance twice a year
2) 100% pay, cancellation and DH.
3) really depends on the base!
4) Excellent. But to be fair just ask any other 121 pilot how it compares to their old training departments and find out for yourself..

You bring a good attitude, work hard, this company will go out of their way to see you succeed.

Good luck !

(sorry the above is for SkyWest, wrong topic I apologize )

1. Company pays for 50% and payroll deducts the rest. $20 monthly uniform allowance also
2. BSTG - Bid schedule trip guarantee - means if something cancels you get paid at least the original value of the trip or what you flew, whichever is greater. Usually means slightly less than what other airlines might have paid because you might lose the overage earned on other flights.
3. I don't know, a year?
4. 1 sim.

The training department is good, though it is geared toward people who have flown 121 before. We have had some strictly CFI's come through as of late. They are flying the line though now so they made it through, not sure if we have had some not make it.

We have 1 sim. If you are asking about the number of sims you get for training it is 5 (might be 6, it has been a couple years) - 4 hour sessions then MV, a Loft and then the LOE.

Now it's 6 sims, MV, Loft, MV, Loft, then LOE. You get right seat trained, left seat trained, and the LOE is taken in the left seat.

There are rumors of another new hire class starting soon but nothing official

Awful quiet around here lately, no?

Latest pool update says no more classes until the 3rd quarter of this year, hiring into the pool has stopped (it stands at 76) and no more updates until mid summer unless something changes... So yes I'd say its very quiet

Can someone send me the contract? Or give a link to it? I'm interested in a couple work rules, and I think others in the future might want to browse it also. That's if you can at least.

Thanks
