hey guys I was curious if any of you CZ peeps had heard anything new?
Also, how many guys are flow-eligible? and how many pilots on property? ...APC has something like 400+ eligible, which I don't think is correct |

The last pilot to flow is #310 but 3 have already chosen not to take the flow, and I know of a handful of others that aren't planning on flowing. So, roughly 300-305 of flow eligible pilots at 113 per year.....it'll be over in three years once it starts. |
why is it so crazy quiet around cpz as of late?

Ok, I know everyone has their own deal and all, but why in the world would one choose not to flow?
1. Not everyone likes Delta 2. Individual has recall rights at another airline (AA/United, etc.) 3. Individual is over the age of 55 and doesn't wish to spend their last years in aviation on reserve bidding crappy schedules, when they could make the same money and get the QOL they are looking for. |

They don't have the sweet transitional jet at delta. I wouldn't flow for that reason alone. You might get stuck flying a airplane without engines under the wings.
Those high engined airplanes are sketchy sketchy! |

No news usually means, news is coming....
As far as flying goes, we (Compass) will begin a transition to West Coast flying beginning in September, with an even bigger shift in January. It will start with LAX/SEA flying and then transition to lots of flying out of LAX in phase 2. What has been talked about, and will need to happen to support the amount of LAX flying Delta wants us to do in January is a LAX base. Most likely this will come at the expense of DTW which will probably be closed. We will also see a draw down in LGA flying as well as a downsizing in MSP. |
