Its also an United and Alaska route, I only meant its another Delta route SkyWest is losing to Compass. I love the Delta flying out of LAX in the 700/900. I don't like seeing it go!

The crazy part is that I used to fly CRJ-700s on that route for Horizon and watched the west coast flying and airplanes get given to Skywest by Alaska Air Group which is why I ended up at Compass. Now Delta is taking this DL flying away from Skywest and giving it to Compass. So I'm back where I was but 4 years and thousands of dollars later. Regional airline piloting is a real kick in the nuts.

I know what you mean. I worked at Eagle before SkyWest and did the Eagle flying out of LAX in the EMB 140s now i've done that same exact "Eagle" flying in the 200 at SkyWest.

That's how a lot of easties felt in LGA. Trust me it was odd flying some of thouse routes that were purely US Airway's prop routes... Sad thing is a few of them were faster on the prop than the jet!
