Management seems to just be doing whatever they feel like lately and not caring one bit what the CBA has to say about it.
From what I understand they are being put into a pool until they get approval.

Add that on top of the other several contract violations Holdings has engaged in. Eventually this will get to a point the union may have to sue the company...the only way they will honor what's in writing. Contract is only as good as the people who enforce it!

Isn't Compass owned by Hulas now, because that would explain everything...

I'm surprised that they actually called me for an interview as I have a little over 1,000TT and 60Multi. However, I do qualify for the RATP and the recruiter said that Compass will be accepting it soon because they cannot afford to lose too many people to Skywest or Express (His exact words).

Anyway, I'm a little worried about my interview (I guess that's normal right?). But I have no 121 experience and I have very limited knowledge on jet engines ect. I have passed my ATP written, but I used sheppard air so it's not like I learned too much from that. I have been reading several interview gouges for Compass and have found that most of them talk about the 3 computer tests that you have to take and pass. The one that is stressing me out is the knowledge one. Apparently it is 60 questions in 60 minutes and you do not get the aid of a calculator.

I was wondering if anyone could lend some advice on the interview, or offer some examples of the best ways to prepare for it? Best texts to study ect. I really want to do well and I really would like to get offered a job at Compass. They seem to be (in my opinion) one of the best regionals (if not the best) to currently work for.

Thanks!
I just started a new-hire class this Thursday. I'm the "old man." I'm 33 and about 5000 hours, much of which is turbine and 121. That being said, the other three are straight out of flight instructing with no 121 or turbine experience. Two just have their ATP written done. The key is getting past the knowledge test. Go by the study guide they give you and get a good feel for turbine engine concepts. Like a previous post said, "Everything explained for the professional pilot" is worth it's weight in gold.

Good luck!

I'm just curious, does anyone know anybody that has actually failed the knowledge test and/or the other two tests?

Yes, prior 121 guys who didn't put the work in to study. Also someone who got frustrated and quit on the video game math test.

Go to will fly for food and also airline pilot interviews (have to pay for this website) and look through Delta, Compass, and Express jet interview gouges and compile all the questions that people have listed and this will be a good study guide and the type of questions you will see. Im not saying this is right but I know someone who did, apply to express jet, the interview cognitive test and knowledge test are exactly the same so you will have seen some of the test before (total bank is like 900 questions I hear). Good luck
