Sooo, I'm guessing some guys bid CA upgrade and were bypassed for lack of hours and this provision came into play. I would love to hear more about it from someone who was directly involved. It did suck to be promised upgrade only to have it yanked a week later. That's exactly what happened. I DO know that our executives don't do ride-alongs to see what they're actually in charge of. If they do then they're doing it in secret and should be fired for their complete inability to run an airline or come up with ways to solve basic issues. AB is a nice fish. I toss him back in the water every time just so I can reel him in again. Puts up a little fight, but still swims off like a good boy whenever I cut the line loose. Heck, by now the guy probably has 15 hooks lodged in his big mouth. It's like catching a 300lb 74 year old sea turtle trolling along at 25 knots drinking a beer. No skill needed, it's still fun.
