My ATP written was more than two years old when I was hired at Compass. I don't know if they have changed their policy, but I doubt it since they have no reason to.

Yea who knows...sucks if I wasted my time and money on it. They seemed pretty sure that if it was more than 30 days expired I would have to retake it and nobody there questioned as to why I had 2 copies of it.

My ATP written was five years old when I was hired at CPS and that was acceptable to them; however, that was three years ago. A friend of mine recently applied with an expired written and was told it needed to be current. He retook the written and was called for an interview shortly thereafter.

Hmmm...how to say this in a way that is "grandma" appropriate...

Perhaps someone isn't aware of the regulation and is forcing people (who are likely collecting unemployment) to waste money on something that is unnecessary?

I got hiredin January with an old written. It was still the old interview format. In my interview I just explained 61.39 and that was fine.

I was planning on retaking it anyway to go due my atp ride part 91, so I'm just going to stick with that plan. Plus it just helps study wise.

I'd rather have it and not need it, than need it an not have it.

How long after you submit an app online are people getting calls? Submitted 8/31. 5700tt, 4800 multi, 2000 pt 121 (400 pic). Does somebody have a phone number for hr to make sure I completed the app correctly?
The axe on my corporate job is up and ready to fall.

There's rumor that anyone over 5000tt is being turned down. Anyone know if there's any truth to it?

I have over 5000 TT and was pretty much called immediately.

Has anyone heard of actually walking their stuff right into HR?

I'd say good luck finding them, and getting access. They're hard to find and reach at Compass.
