FYI folks, block hours are usually low these months and high in summer months. Staffing at many airlines seems low in the summer and fat in the winter, thats normal. Keep that in mind when trying to take the company staffing pulse.
Our AA birds may be less utilized until frequency in busier months arrives. Skywest is moving 7 CRJ700 expiring off United contracts to fly AA in LAX. I really don't see how we add additional birds to AA. Envoy has rights to all the new E175 AA orders, Republic wont shed any of their E175 AA flying, and TSH doesnt own a E175.

Where do you get this info? I'm not seeing anything close to this on Flica. I understand that Flica numbers may be inaccurate and lag behind, but why have I moved up only 7 spots on total list in the last 4 months? I even checked a random pilot at the end of the list from 4 months ago and now, and that person moved up only 25 spots. I know about a few captains that recently got job offers or left, but 15+ sounds very optimistic. Don't take me wrong, I hope you're right! I love seeing people leaving regionals for majors, it gives me hope that I'll be one of them soon...

Are there any FO's who live in base in LA? Trying o figure out how not to commute and living in so cal would be fun, but I'm wondering how people can pull it off?
