In all seriousness though. Delta is suing RAH in order to secure the airplanes in a settlement. They've done this before. They will get the entire Shuttle America fleet and give it to TSH. The 145s going to TSA and the 175s going to Compass.

Delta gets away from a toxic partner and Republic gets relief in terms of staffing

Clean.

Leaving a place you have gotten use to for the last 2.5 years is a tough decision.
Upgrades have slowed down, they are doing 14 a month now. All the by passed FO's are reaching their 1000 121 slowly so no one can predict how quick your upgrade will be. Last upgrade award had April hires in it.
If new flying/planes come to Compass then it will go crazy, like 30 upgrade classes again.
So its a gamble on your part, if can put up with reserve for a little and may be 1.5 year upgrade (worst case scenario) then pull the trigger.

Delta doesn't just have the ability to give the planes to who they want, unless they took over the payments.

If RAH can't staff their airplanes, to meet their CPA requirements with their mainline partners, they won't get paid the money to make their payments of their planes.

In that case, it won't be up to RAH, it is up to their mainline partners on how they agree to proceed. They can file bankruptcy, but that doesn't prevent the lessor from repossessing the planes and giving them to an airline their mainline partners will use to staff them. Bankruptcy also doesn't prevent their mainline partners from cancelling their CPAs with RAH, hence putting RAH in a situation where they have no money to pay their lessors.

I personally wouldn't think it would be worth it, you'll have a lot more people in front of you trying to upgrade. The flow is finished and I think we're just about the numbers we need for the AA airplanes. Upgrades are going to slow down to whatever attrition becomes.

While we don't have rumors of loosing airplanes I wouldn't want to go on the back of a list, loose seniority to commute to LA.

agreed. 1st year pay here is simply ridiculous and its literally not possible to live without at least a 2nd if not a 3rd job. the fact of the matter is you will never make as an FO here what you make at awac until you upgrade. so unless you have a big nest egg saved up that you dont care about blowing through and getting $650-$800 semi monthly paychecks, id stay put if i were you. Not to mention lax is already planned at 250 fo's so your seniority wont be great and may take awhile to improve. just my friendly advice, pm me if youd like

My friend interviewed for a sim instructor position. 10 instructors were hired and he also said 40 a month for new hires for the foreseeable future.
