I wonder why?

Well, hopefully its not a Mesa interview; I would like to feel like I actually earned the job if I get an offer. :) Thanks for the replies.

Multiple choice job knowledge test, swept wing aerodynamics etc, then a panel/board interview with an HR rep and a couple of line pilots.

You will. Yeah, the experience level of interviewees has subsided, but they still aren't hiring complete knuckleheads.

It allows them to interview and hand out CJO's at Universities and job fairs instead of dragging the applicants out to MSP for two days. It sounds like they just took the computer knowledge test and turned it into a 50 question paper test. I imagine the cognitive and personality test is no longer given.

This jives with what I have heard from people in the recruiting department. More emphasis on a solid interview. Anyone who prepares for a pulse and fog check will be shown the door.

Randomly. Usually out of DTW or MSP. We did those flights late spring and early summer. Now it's mostly mainline and 1 SkyWest 900 from Msp.

Still a ton of training out of STL though. Continuous initial/upgrade training has put most recurrent stuff in STL this month. I've also seen new hires in STL.
