Came from Republic and, although I missed the quick upgrade, I couldn't be happier. Much better culture than the other two regionals in was at.

Xjt to Compass has been great. I don't have to gear up for an argument when I call scheduling unlike every time I called them at xjt. They actually call you back if you have a request they can't answer right then or if your pairing cancels before your show. Training is better too.
Compass has it's issues (watch your pay stubs if you do trading), but I really couldn't be happier here. Probably the best regional to be at, but not worth making a career out of it. |

Came from ExpressJet to Compass. Super quick upgrade for me, scheduling picks up the phone instantly, Dispatch (depending who you get) seems to be ahead of the game. Way better than XJT. Had a blast on the 4 day I just finished. Having young crews is great, almost no lifers...really enjoy it here at Compass.

What are upgrades projected to be at now for a new hire?
Heard approximately 18 months if you have no 121 you'll take about this time to get enough time to be eligible anyways. I feel like this number is never accurate at any company though because it's based on so many factors. What if most of our captains just keep leaving higher than projected then it will be sooner. Or if we get more flying it will take longer or if people stop leaving rapidly. With current rates I've heard 18-24 Max though Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
So the latest Compass Points says, "Execute Delta's long term facility plans for LAX, SEA, and SLC."..........

What's the best way to move your schedule around with a high speed line? Just try for trade board? Or can you drop into open time in SCP? PMs welcome

But seriously, whats a long term facility plan, and how do I help execute it? |
Had a Compass FO on the jumpseat a while back and he had finished up a five-day trip.
For you Compass guys, what's the average credit for these 5-day trips? Are you guys on PBS, and if so - what tends to be your credit window values/size? Out of a bid pack for say MSP, what is the trip mix (more specifically - how many 4 day vs. 5 days?) |

We do have PBS, I'd say the average is around 28. I'm senior and usually do 30+ hour five days. There's a few more four day trips than five but I'd say the vast majority of our trips are four and five days. For March, in MSP there's 80 four day pairings vs. 60 five day pairings. This can and does change month to month.
Example for us at XJT CRJ is we have a thirty hour credit window with a line value usually set ten hours above the minimum credit value for the credit window. Thanks again for the information. |
