Speaking of typos, anyone know how to brief "q proper descent and vertical navigation plan" as referenced in the FOSA for KBUR? I know things are dynamic at Compass, but I'm not sure how or why to include dynamic pressure from aerodynamics equations in my approach brief into KBUR (as apparently the FAA wants us to do since they made management issue the read file to us to go there). Fortunately I'm not going there next month! Now to bid avoid BUR for April or until someone can explain it to me.

So yeah..our sick bank builds so pathetically slow. I have an FA friend who has been at AS for all of 18 months. She already has 150 hours in her sick bank. WTF.

Given that the trips that I get awarded in non-training months pay just as much or sometimes less than training events do, I don't have that problem. If only we had trips that would break the 4 hour/day guarantee by more than 10 minutes... Maybe that would solve some of our staffing problems...

You just need that one 5 day that does SFO-LAX and ends with a glorious DFW turn. Talk about a long day but you’ll block almost 8 hours that day.

Back when I was a (senior) FO, I'd get some glorious trips (including a 24:30 3 day). Now I do 5 day trips worth less than that. Ah well...
