I know this makes 3 different answers but its $1.71......I'm staring at a paystub. Once you hold a line and fly consistently it makes a nice chunk of change. There is an International Override too but I can't remember that one. Don't be discouraged by comments on here, that is everywhere and it doesn't all apply to you. We have FO's here who have been on RSV over a year (flew with a guy at 13mo. last week) and they obviously have things to complain about. However, that won't be you, Compass is about to explode, come get some!

I don't believe so, sorry , many ex military joining different companies and we talk a lot, if you are taking about CRJ maybe you are right but ERJ not a chance ....anyway I 'll start here next week so I don't really care if Skywest upgrade you in 2 days or 2 years, for me right now Compass was a better choice, better pay better signing bonus and a better fit for my needs

Exactly my point. At least some people get it. This made me laugh.

It's pretty clear when someone is providing good service, versus kissing up. It's not just about the hat, but a combination of factors.

Well I guess if you’re talking about a specific airplane. Point was it has been years since compass has had a faster upgrade than OO.

Think you answered your own question here. We're not at Delta, some of us don't want to be at Delta, there's no flow to Delta, so why do we wear a hat? Northwest didn't require it; it's just a mgmt ploy to police us.

But let's remember, our flying contracts are in jeopardy since some of us don't wear hats... You can't make this stuff up!

Absolutely, I'm not talking bad about Skywest, for sure being a leasing company and owning airplanes means be a very strong company to work for, in my case, to be honest, I was sold by higher pay per hour better bonus and 500 hrs credit based on military experience for the upgrade to Captain. I was considering also Skywest because I live in San Diego, but like I said for now Compass won me... at the end of the game Skywest or Compass for me is just a transition to get to a major if possible. Anyway you have to admit Compass is doing a better job in hiring thanks to the higher pay and bonus right now... Skywest instead does a better job in investing in airplanes ....but maybe not in wellness for their crews... again just my opinion...if you are at Skywest you have your reasons and I'm sure you are happy, I'm happy I chose Compass until they prove me otherwise

We aren’t offering bonuses yet because we don’t have to. Somehow still hiring way more than we’re losing every month. The 500 hours credit for military experience is a FAR. Pretty sure everyone offers that.

Good news is that since OO now has a base in SAN, you won’t have nearly as much competition for the jumpseat on your commute to lax.
