Virtually 100%. YGBFKM! Was this in the India study that was neither blind nor unbiased or was this in the unreviewed Zuckerberg study? It’s so hard to keep track when you see only what you want to see. I think at this point it is imperative that you box up all your research and send it off to all the best research clinics and universities in the country to let them know what you’ve stumbled upon. Oh wait I forgot they’re all part of the grand conspiracy designed to keep Ivermectin off the streets even though it is humanity’s only hope. Honestly do you hear how crazy that sounds?!?! At least you’re always good for a laugh! Keep that tinfoil hat on tight!

Well, with the CDC changing the definition of what a vaccine is and what it means to be vaccinated it is hard to keep up.

Awesome reference, I liked the article on how “these two vitamins will destroy arm and belly fat overnight”.

This has been a very active thread with lots of points & counterpoints.
At the end of the day has this discussion changed anything or even made any difference?
After all of This back and forth I hope to hear how many pilots are sticking to their principles and declining the vaccine. For those who will go on unpaid leave waiting for the pandemic to materially subside before coming back to work- I'd like to know their opinion on what will be needed to effect the change required.

You guys always attack these obscure websites while never addressing if the information is true or not. The CDC did in fact change the definition on their website. You can't find info contradicting the government anymore on any mainstream site because it's censored. This makes it easy to say "conspiracy website, ignored."

FWIW what difference is made by the CDC changing the definition of vaccine? Does that somehow render the COVID19 vaccine ineffective or unnecessary? Will all UAL pilots still have to be vaccinated in order to work on 28 September?

Show me were the NIH recommended Ivermectin , studies from third parties in pubmed don't count. The CDC does not recommend Ivermectin for covid. It matters to me if the CDC recommends something, because I know I can't do my own research and I reluctantly somewhat trust the CDC. I know Ivermectin is a wonderful drug for humans against parasitic worms hence the Nobel prize, and has shown promise against some viral diseases, but I am not convinced it's a wonder drug against covid, and has not been prescribed/recommended for use against covid, at least not in any significant number.
Having said that, it's cheap, and has low side effects, so I would have no problem if it there was a big scale clinical trial here in the US. I would not hesitate to join. I do not believe there is a big pharma conspiracy to keep us hooked on expensive drugs, and that the governments are complicit in this. So https://www.fda.gov/consumers/consum...event-covid-19 to me means we are probably stuck with the vaccine and masks for now.
You keep reciting the numbers in Israel and Iceland as a warning vaccines don't work, but although their numbers are higher than they were earlier, they are still far lower, especially death rates, when compared to the states, and especially with individual states with lower vaccination rates. Pretty much all children in the States are required to get their shots before going to school (and the places where they don't suffer from it, see measles), military, same, and yes, I have no problem with an employer mandating that as a condition of employment. Might come back and bite me in the a$$, if they can enforce that, what else can they mandate, yes, you are right to be worried about slope.

If they published any report given to them you might have a point, but each report or study has to be approved in order to be published. Maybe you should work for the NIH so you can tell doctors researching topics which studies are accurate and which ones are false information. Even though again, they’re all managed by the NIH. Your argument is like saying AAL wants its wholly owneds to make credit card announcements in flight, and then when a passenger complains because it’s annoying, American can then say, “well that’s a different airline. Whatever they do is on them. Even though we told them to do that, that’s not our responsibility.”
I don’t think big pharma is trying to get us “hooked” on expensive drugs (though I wouldn’t put it past them), but it’s extremely naive to think they’re not doing everything in their power to limit knowledge of cheaper alternatives. The NIH managed pubmed recommends Ivermectin for Covid 19 in other countries and there are several. But for some reason not in the U.S. Most of their reports have a “conflict of interest” section at the bottom of the report. The reports that say it’s “uncertain” or “unclear” all have funding from various companies and research centers listed as conflicts of interest. If you notice, theyll never say NOT to use it, but they’re just “uncertain”. If you look at the reports that DO recommend Ivermectin for covid… NONE of them have any conflicts of interest listed. And again, these are all reports from the NIH managed pubmed. Not some random doctor you don’t agree with and claim is a murdering lunatic.
45% of the FDA’s overall budget is funded by Drug companies. 65% of their budget specifically for human drug regulation is funded by drug companies. You seriously think the FDA doesn’t have a self interest in helping out the drug companies?! We are one of the only countries in the world still asking for masks in schools. A big reason is because the American Academy of Pediatrics told the CDC and the White House that kids should wear masks (even though flu is much worse in kids) Guess who their primary source of funding is? Pfizer! Why aren’t any other countries asking for masks in schools?
beginning of time to 2019: Everyone agrees with the so called “conspiracy” that big pharma is corrupt and screws everyone in order to make billions in profits.
2020 to now: Only the left thinks big pharma has integrity and would never try to suppress information that could hurt their profits. They’re the only noble and honest corporations in the world.
And I get what you’re saying about Israel and Iceland. But severe cases and deaths are irrelevant. Every decision and restriction we’ve been making is based on cases. If there were zero deaths, but we had a million new cases in one day even if none of them had any symptoms… the media and government officials would be freaking out.
