Yeah, MSP is quite simply a seniority $hit-show...but at least it's cold and has a high cost of living. We moved...

What are the odds of someone absurdly junior sneaking their way into an award that nobody would've thought possible? Thus provoking a fury of chatter on here? Kind of like the < 1 year guy who got NYC MD88A a few months ago?

That happens when some guys only want the position after a junior guy has nabbed it fair and square. Then they jump in on the next bid, realizing too late why the seat went so junior.

Default last minute help?

So...I'm DTW 73n based, very junior. I can get into SLC or keep DTW - living in MSP. Which one is a better for reserve and commuting? Stressed a little.

I would guess staying in DTW would work out better. I'm just guessing that there will be more people coming to DTW junior to you than SLC over then next year.

Shorter trip to DTW obviously so that's a bonus. Quite a few DTW commuters from MSP right? Are there many going from MSP to SLC? Food for thought. Good luck.

Being the legacy HQ of NWA means the locals and near-region guys are rooted. The 18-year 320B group has a number of guys who earn captain pay by staying put. The growth/turnover activity means everyone has a choice. Some seem irritated that other's preferences stand in the way of their preferences. That's nothing new.

I predict the 2018-19 movement will be even more pronounced. Fun times!

You've had all month to ask around and check the schedules, but you wait until 15 minutes before the bid closes to ask?
