I heard he got a bargain on a bunch of locomotives from India. The in service date has slipped a bit however as they install coaling and water stations!

So... 12,000 lbs more MTOW, and a forward cargo compartment you can't use. We get the Walmart contract or something?

Seriously, I would bet that Airbus could pencil whip an increased gross weight for the airplanes we now have. (We just need to send them some $$) The only issue is fuel tanks, and I am not positive if the tanks are completely full as is.

UAL and AA seem to focus, for the most part, on "new" and that is why they are carrying a lot more debt than we are.
When the recession comes, we are gonna be yuge winners.

Yessir....slow and steady wins the race.

And, maybe we can get a good deal on some of their bigger but not so shiny jets when they need to offload a few during the next downturn. Still thinking used 787s showing up via Norweigan is not beyond the scope of possibility for us. Who knows?

Hence the reason they only have 7 orders for the ULR.

Airbus does have a 280t non ULR available. We have the 275t version. I don't know if there's the ability to use the full fuel tanks in a non ULR version, however.
