I dunno what to add......I went through the short course after 6 years on the short bus and felt it was a waste of time. The course isn’t designed for guys that already speak French......it’s just the same lessons as the IQ course, picked and choosed, and put together. Like......the 402 lesson is the same for IQ and the short course. So it’s the same sims, just less of them.

What I felt I needed more of was the Int’l ops. I know the WWO CD is soooooo well done........but still. Lol.

Adding a day to school was purely a way to add a year to the freeze. More freeze=less movement=less $$ spent. Big surprise.

I bet the number of pilots who bid off the 330 between the 12 and 24 month point is virtually nil unless it’s to upgrade to CA in which case the freeze would not apply. 330 Sim assets are very scarce and they are paying big bucks for offsight time.

forgot to bid 01-27-2020 03:33 AM

Where is the offsite training? Just about anything sounds more appealing than Virginia Ave.

I think they go to Airbus in 36th St in Miami.

They’re shopping around for additional options. Any other Airbus sims in the US?

If it is so low, then why did the company decide to extend the seat lock for the course?

And the pilot in your example could only break the lock for their left-seat bid if it was their first captain upgrade.

Which does make Virgina Ave sound a bit better than it did when Toulouse was the other option.

What I don't get is why do they call that place College Park when there is no college and is no park?

Why do you park in a driveway? Why do some think a Miata isn't a sportscar? These are things we'll never understand.
