Or just remove 6 seats. There are ways around it. And it has been done in the past.

I’m pretty sure the 35 of the 76 seat RJs have to be parked after an arbitrator takes 2-3 years to rule on the very clear language in the PWA.

Can you post the language? I'm genuinely curious.

“In the event the hiring or flow provisions of NWA LOA 2006-10 or LOA #9 cease to be available, either at the feeder carrier affiliate referenced in such LOAs or at another carrier, the number of promoted 76-seat aircraft in Section 1 B. 47. e. Will be reduced by 35.”

The airplanes are lost the day Compass closed down. Does not matter if any Delta pilots have or have not been furloughed the flow down is no longer available so Delta get's 35 less 76-seaters unless they provide another flow down provision.

The 35 RJs you mention are tied to the loss of the Compass flow-through which will happen regardless if the company furloughs (assuming the company doesn’t replace said agreement).

The 6 seat removal clause is if they furlough anyone on the seniority list prior to 12/1/16 (about 2500 hired since) when the current contract went into effect.

I highly doubt a flow down would fly at 9E. Maybe Skywest will cave. Not sure how them being non-ALPA would work though.

Does anyone have a refresher on which aircraft was suppose to replace the 88/90 since the category was already closing relatively soon? What is going to pick up those trips as domestic flying recovers?

Nah. OO has a lot of lifers, there's no way they'd allow any DL guys to come in on the top of the list.

I saw an article months ago saying the 320/737 would. Not sure of the credibility.

It would be foolish for any pilot group to agree to a flow down in the current environment. There won’t be a need for those 35 RJs anyway.
