Yep 7200 pilots needing training. We saw it coming. You can’t tell Gummy anything though. They don’t know what to do now.

If that’s true, that’s what, 75% of the pilots left on property needing training? In less than a year. With hardly any international to do TOEs. With, presumably, a ton of your check airman getting displaced.

Theres certainly a lot of silence coming from CR.

I tend to agree. It would be a few thousand more movements than BS had listed in his mid bid update. Surely it wouldn’t have changed that much.

Yikes! If it's all training events, then that is going to be a tough puzzle to solve. If that number includes instances of base changes (same a/c and seat) and movements to UNA, then the actual training events would be a lot less than that total number.

If ALPA is the source, I’d guess it’s the absolute worst case for one particular run the company did. We all know they do multiple ones until it gives them the results they want.

Well considering the 777 and the 88 going away plus you have to train the 2500 of us UNA's (as most are NB FO's) replacements. It's not that much of a stretch of the numbers to get to that.

And let's not forget talk of this being the "first round," and "clean up bids." Are there even enough hotel rooms on Virginia Avenue? What's the record for the number of visits to the training center by one pilot in a year?
