do we think the MAXes we get will seat ~200 pax? We have over 240new(<10 years old) 180-200 seaters without the NEOs but our newest planes in the 150-160 seat range are pushing 20 years old with some of our 320s over 30. Just my opinion but I think a max deal would be mostly max 8s which is a different pax mission than a 321NEO

Totally. I heard a few super senior ER Captains in LAX down bid to A320 when they opened the catagory (pre-COVID + right before the NEO’s were scheduled to arrive) thinking they’d have their pick of Hawaii layovers. I’m wondering how the AUS and RDU layovers compare to HNL.

Agreed. I love the Carolina inn and I like AUS now that we are at the Hyatt Regency, away from the methodone clinic. When choosing alternative layovers for Hawaii, I used a couple cities that we go to very often on the A320 catagory, not undesirable layovers.

We've been at the JW Marriott in AUS for the last couple of weeks. Another great hotel.

I thought as far as red eyes go it wasn’t all that bad. With that said I was used to doing double red eyes from gru and eze pretty frequently. Those were brutal. I did enjoy the day time flying getting out there. Very natural on the body to finish the flight as it’s getting dark, grab dinner and a drink and zonk out.

I just can’t see the NYC base remaining what it is. I know it’s a huge market. However, in my small world, all I know are friends & families moving from the area. Going to be interesting none the less.
