Why such a small class? Haven’t classes been around 50 lately?

The first class of the month typically has flows from Endeavor and I believe they have already bid on aircraft a few months ago.

very odd that SEA 7ER is on there as I understand they’re winding down the bass.

Winding down can still mean they have to have certain staffing in a particular seat. They can sometimes poach from another base, but that tends to add a lot of extra credit/duty/pay/hotels for the same flying.

IDK what they're planning on doing with SEA7ER or when they're planning on doing it. But sometimes they have no choice but to staff it til they close it. There are frequently numerous and compounding downline considerations, just like with bypass pay or "double training." It may not make sense from a zoomed in individual perspective but often does when everything is taken into consideration.

Is there anyway to see what the 9E flow new hires received?

I left the ER FO and went to the 320 to be a capt. I’m having serious buyers remorse. I enjoyed flying the 75 more that the 320 but who cares about that. The ER trips are so much better. 20 percent seniority to 80 percent might have something to do with it. I hope I can bid to ER capt in a few years.

I’m looking at the e-mail I got for the May 3 awards, and there is no MSP 73N in it. Maybe no one wanted it?

staffing formulae often make the counterintuitive happen. Same with pilots training into the 747 a month before it was retired
