Yeah, it's kind of weird. DTW 350B is at 3 years though.

I'd argue that the plug on the 330 is better than 25% on a domestic narrowbody. Especially if you are a commuter.

Any idea if the 764 will come back on the drop list? My Class is in June and hoping to get it.

I think there were unfilled spots, not sure. I haven’t seen a list of unfilled spots from this last AE.

TORO,

It’s like a drop night at UPT…all the planes (unfilled from previous AE) are technically available for any Indoc class, but the short range training capacity drives what a particular class gets from the larger pool of available aircraft.

So just because a F-35 or -400 was in a drop last month doesn’t mean it’s going to be in the drop the next month. Which is kind of what makes the “what was the drop for Indoc class xyz” kind of pointless.

And at DL, the 767-400 is abbreviated 765.

Thank you brotha!! I’m feeling like I’m on stage waiting to see what’s going to pop up behind me on screen. Still have nightmares from that night. Lol

Is it reasonable to expect that a lot of new hires will be assigned 320B since there are over 100 new 321neos on order and being delivered? I saw on WS the category is expanding in several bases for September vs current numbers.

The nice thing is, it’s not permanent! May take some time but you will eventually get to where you want to be. And then find out you may not want to be there. Lots of options. Don’t sweat a year or 2.

Every narrowbody fleet (717, 220, 737, 320, 7ER) will be available for new hires for the foreseeable future. The 320 and 737 especially are critically short staffed in the right seat. For any given class, however, one of those fleets may be featured more heavily than others, just depending on training capacity. As you can see from the 5/24 drop a few posts back it was skewed towards the 320, followed closely by the 717. The 737 and 220 had much fewer spots. The next drop may be similar, or it could completely flip those numbers.

Pleasant day y'all. Just want to ask aside from the 5k a month and hotel accommodation - does one also get per diem for the 12 week new hire training? Thanks!
