Research is key, know what you walk into.

Indeed it's the Delta difference!

What are those NH protections that ALPA doesn't have at Delta?

protections may not have been the best word but I meant
pay (as discussed before)
per deim
paid hotel
paid uniform

2 of theses the company has since voluntary fixed on their own but are in no way contractual

All NH spots have to be offered to line pilots first, so while the number of 320’s may be a little higher than ‘normal’, I would not expect there to be a huge, disproportionate windfall of 320’s to NH’s.

All sarcasm aside, welcome to Delta.
For clarity, unless it’s changed, you can get 100% of the GA state taxes back by filing a nonresident tax return with GA. I know, its BS, but you will get that money back.

I got less than 20% back

the only people I knew who got the money back were people who lived in states with income taxes and had an agreement with the state of GA. As a resident of a no income tax state, I was on the hook for paying GA taxes on all the money I made on NH pay.

One low pay check is a hell of a lot different from "you will go a month without pay."

There's no reason to exaggerate it.

we get paid twice a month, the way I was looking at it is if you miss a paycheck, that’s going a month without pay. Re reading it I can see why it might be seen as exaggerating it. I was not trying to make it sound like the ends do the world, but it’s just a dumb way to do it IMO.
