I’m sure each month it fluctuates, but what aircraft are the longest wait times from BI to sim? 7ER still? I’m okay with a wait.

It wasn't necessarily your checkride, it was an arbitrary day X days after someone in your classes checkride, at least that's what we're told. Even when they told us, it didn't make sense. Sad part is the guys hired on the US Air side who started in our class got their pay date on the day we started indoc...3 months prior to us. Anyway, that's 12 years of a 3 month delayed pay raise.

How's work for a Seattle based new hire? Seniority flow? Trips?

Depends on the aircraft. Which did you get/offered?

Haven't been offered yet but my class is coming up and I'm weighing my options in case it's offered. I'd like nyc or sea.. Would appreciate a comparison of both. Probably A320

320: Every 320 seat in Seattle got filled in the last AE (base/equipment change bid) so around August, maybe a chance to move. NYC would get you in the door. Routes change all the time, but a good mix of transcons, red eyes, international (islands, Central America, Canada).

737: Available in every base so you can go anywhere you can hold. Similar mix of routes as the 320, just not as far as the new 321. Rumor of big max order, but until they show up, I'm not holding my breath.

220: Currently all domestic lower 48 and Fairbanks, AK. Lots of SEA, LAX, NYC, Midwest. Not many red eyes. Newest fleet.

NYC: Traffic, 3 airports to cover. Fast relative seniority as everyone above you bids out of base.
SEA: 737 and the 220 currently do Alaska if you like cold winters. Seniority won't advance as fast. No state income tax if you live in WA.

May you have a high SSN to get your first pick.
I'm sure I missed stuff about one of the fleets or bases, bracing for impact!

How can you hold ATL, but not NYC? I'm a NYC330B and NYC is definitely junior to ATL.

Poorly phrased on my part.

i was trying to say on the last AE, the most junior spot awarded to NYC 330B was senior to me, but the pilot awarded ATL330B plug was junior to me, so if I had bid it on that particular AE, I could have been awarded ATL but not NYC.

So, what were the results of the most recent class drop?
