I was a 2020 hire and I remember ER going in my class. But if I recall we were bidding on a large AE, so must have been the year it broke through

ER resumed in early 2020 after the Jan AE. Sometime in early Feb I think.

Gone are the days of NHs only getting 737/320/717/220 NYC with an occasional MD88 thrown in. Which was only a couple years ago pre-Covid.

I remember being stoked I didn’t get MD88 and got 717, LOL.

Default 73N vs 320

Which of the two does the seniority move quicker?

Base dependent, and even then it often isn’t much between them. Sometimes it depends where you fall on the seniority list too. 320 will have more growth over the next 2-3 years, but 737 tends to have more people bid off. Whenever I’ve compared my seniority in different bases on both, it’s almost always within a few percent of each other.

So really it’s a negligible difference. I’m fortunate enough to have a high ss number, so I’m really picking between the 73N, 320, and 7ER out of ATL.

Go to the 7ER, it's an amazing machine for it's age! This way, in 30 yrs from now, you too can come onto the web and lament how no plane is as well built (pilot wise) as the 757!
