I've heard this is a viable option… haven’t used personally yet.

So are the taxi services charging 20 a ride and cash? Last night JFK to Kew is 24$ Uber and this morning Kew to LGA was 26$. Sucks to spend 50$ just on transportation but sounds like thats the best and most convenient thing to do and I'm not saving that much money for other programs now that KewTFlyer is done.

Sign up for the NEPP if you haven’t yet.

I’m not sure I understand the above. Generally taxi and uber are similar pricing and more expensive, cheaper route is the Kew Cab/Voyager at the rates below. Even cheaper yet is the bus/train option at $2.75. As said above NEPP if you don’t have any other company paid parking for EWR/LGA rotations.
  • JFK-KEW $12
  • LGA-KEW $15
  • JFK-LGA $18

Transportation costs are part of the NYC experience. Try and find the silver lining, junior base, faster seniority gain (typically) and increased GS opportunities.

Maybe bum a ride with a crew if there’s a shuttle leaving, shared shuttle, or hop on the air train to Jamaica station then transfer to the subway or LIRR to Penn Station ($10-$15). Download Citymapper.

Default Crashpad recs

Anyone have a Crashpad recommendation in NYC? Probably in the Kew gardens area? PM if you’d like. Thanks!
