Primarily asking in regards to JFK since I imagine most trips fly out of there:

1. For those living in the area, where do you live? Northern NJ/Southern NY? Connecticut? Which towns, specifically?

2. I tried researching, but is there a public transportation option via train from these northern areas? All I'm seeing here is essentially subway access from downtown NYC to JFK, but you'd have to drive/Uber to those stations first.

Thanks!

All are at JFK but 220, 320 and 73 are pretty evenly divided between JFK and LGA with some EWR in there as well.

Question about the NEPP - if I bought a 30 day unlimited metro card to use for transportation to/from the NYC airports, would that be reimbursable under the NEPP?

While not definitive, evidence suggests not. Anytime you submit an expenses in Concur, each one has to have a date and a rotation number attached to it.

Could you buy the unlimited card on the day of a rotation and submit the expense like that? I think that might just work. Let us know if that works out. Could be a good way to get the Airtrain pass, too.

Does anyone know what the crew rate is at the TWA hotel at JFK? Thinking it's a faster option in the event one needs a hotel before/after a trip

crew rate fluctuates based on supply and demand.

I've seen as low as $117, and as high as $210.

As an example, it’s $129 on the 15th (Wednesday) and $423 on the 18th (Saturday).

As mentioned in a previous reply, the expense has to be associated with a LGA/EWR rotation. I don’t use the unlimited ride card, just the regular card. When my balance is getting low and I have a LGA trip I’ll just load 20 or 30$ on the card the day of report and submit for expense on that rotation. Then I can use it when needed for trips until I get low again. I suspect you’d have no issues doing the same with an unlimited ride card as long as you make the purchase on the day you report (or release) from an LGA/EWR trip.
