Yet we have an MEC that votes out the best chairman in my 26 years because we need a better relationship with management. The same management that continues violating our contract in many ways. We are like an abused spouse. And the icing on the cake is the weakest council keeps the 4. I wish there was a face palm emoji here. We are so ****ed!

So true! C001 put pilot advocates back! They are great as have been the west coast reps. They need some help to offset the giveaway gang.

No skin in the game, but literally a year ago, on here, people were slating RS for his town halls etc and going on about how he seemed weak. Moral of the story, we always want what we can’t have. Just wait four years and we will be wishing JA was still chair (because we always vote in the new shiny thing )

Without the support of the Atlanta they can’t get anything done. The best word to describe the Atlanta council is “appeasement” and they will do everything in their power to continue that forward.

They have always perpetuated that mindset, which is exactly why we ended up with no reps at National. They snowballed the election process, which made us look like a joke because we had two distinct factions.

My hope going forward is that some of our other bases continue to grow numbers wise. At Seattle we are on a good trajectory but corporate is smart enough to keep the power in Atlanta.

Haha. Yes. 4 of what, 17 reps? controls the MEC. I didn't know ATL held UN Security Council veto powers.

Isn’t Atlanta where the instructor rep is?
