since the trip is a “5 day” because you are released after midnight you will get PR since that is an off day but no extra $$. This is due to the carve out from 0000-0130. If day 5 is in the current bid month (June) you will get a banked PB day. If it is the next bid month (July) you SHOULD see PR on your first on call day.
That would be true if it were a 4 day that releases just before midnight. But this is a 5. You get 9 hours from release (on day 5), plus 24 hours for every interrupted X day (day 1 & 5), even if only 1 minute is violated. He had two x days violated.

Therefore, his next set of X days now end in the early 9 o’clock hour. I think he will get one banked PB day for day 1, plus one PB plus a PR for day 5 (ending in the 9:00 hour on his second RES day of the new bid period).

Forgot to add the new bid period is lineholder so all days into the bank. So two PB days plus the PR rounds up to three in the bank. This was how I was thinking it would be applied.

Thx.

I'm a slightly confused on your timeline, but if it was a 4 day that started today that extended into day 5, then day 5 is not an X day, its a lineholder day off in July. In that case you get 1 PB day in the bank for the 28th and thats it.

That changes the calculus. In this case, only 1 x day violated = 1 banked PB day.

Having said that; you may get some pay for that 5th day, if that’s the only line holder day flown. Any credit for the trip would get paid out to you, I believe, but don’t quote me on that part.

I'm probably misunderstanding something somewhere, but I picked up a 3 day GS with less than 12 hours notice to report. Day 1 was an X day but day 2 and 3 were RES days. It looks like I got the extra pay for day 1 but I haven't gotten any PB days. I was under the impression that I was due both since day 1 of the GS fell on am X day. What'd I miss?

If it's an X day on day 1 it doesn't matter how long prior to report. Your release time + 9 hours + 24 hours for interrupted x day

Sooo...no PB day? What's a good reference in the PWA for this scenario? I was having a hard time finding anything that seemed to 100% apply.

If it violated an x day, I’d just call scheduling and ask where it is. If this is at the end of the month and it will be a banked PB day, check the bottom of your time card if you haven’t already. That’s where banked PB days show up.

Yeah, checked the time card. Nothing there. Like I said, day 1 was on an X day but it spilled into RES days.
