Thanks for sharing...rumors from the inside is training is so backed up they slowed down interviews to allow trng to catch up. Just standard aircrew rumors...I initally applied Nov 3.

Training is backed up on certain fleets, but not all. The ER fleet seems to be the most saturated.

They mentioned a slowdown in hiring for the year, but yet the first class in January had like 80 NH in it.

To be fully transparent, and not cause stress for those trying to get here:
It isn’t a showdown, but a return to historical norms that they said. From the current 200+ a month to a more normal 100-125.

Didn't they then back away from that and saying high pace hiring to continue with eye on this TA being voted in?

First class of the year was told hiring is now planned at 2,300 for the year.

I had not heard this, but it makes sense if the TA gets approved and how many extra pilots DALPA said this would have to add.

Yes, recent comments indicate that high class numbers will continue.

I knew it was going to happen. There’s no way anybody is throttling back hiring in the next 2-3 years. I firmly believe that they will continue this hiring going in 2024 as well.
