Is Delta still requiring new hire pilots to be fully vaccinated with the Covid19 vaccine?

Internal memo just released today says all covid policies going away after May 11th, including new-hire shot requirements. FWIW, they have always rubber-stamped exemption requests to this requirement for pilots. All you have to do is submit it.

1 person from my interview last week got a class date today for early May. It sounds like it's dependent on when your background check clears.

Looks like the background check is an ongoing process. People can still start indoc while their background is being processed.

Trust me the background company is very……… well they could be better. The software is tedious and they ask for the same thing 2-5 times. So it won’t pass before indoc most likely. I did the interview in mid March and got a late April class date with then still asking for repeat paperwork.

That’s so fast! I interviewed last week and got a cjo. Have slowly been getting the trickle emails for paperwork this week. Hope to get a class date soon.

It sounded like he got an email saying he cleared pre-screening and then got a class date a couple hours later. I'm not really sure what "clearing pre-screening" entails.
