Thanks, appreciate the insight and reassurance.
Tough to not continue feeling down on myself given the stakes. Hoping for the best. |

Did you fix your college GPA up or down? How big was the change? If your app said 3.5 and you adjusted it to 3.7 or 3.3, it probably won't even come up. If it was marked 4.0 but was actually 2.5 that's going to come up in the interview but as others have said own up to the mistake and you can still easily land the job. I haven't heard of anyone actually having an interview invite rescinded, and certainly not for one single data entry error.

Had to adjust it down (3.6 down to roughly 3.2). Stupid mistake. Sucks. Should have used a prep service to review. Lesson learned and hope I’m still in the game.

For all the attention to detail Delta pays to the individual's application, I've had to laugh at several of the typos I've seen in their onboarding material. Mistakes happen. If you have an interview scheduled you'll have a chance to explain the mistake to the human being. You're not hiding anything, so I think you'd be good.

Stop stressing, you’ll be fine. I’ve seen much bigger differences get the job. |

Check out aviationinterviews.com. On that website you will see a lot of people post about their experience on interview day, and many of them go quite in depth. It also has a list of 200+ questions that you could get asked on the interview. I believe its $20/month to access this information for 1 company, and $40/month to have access to 5 companies. It was well worth the money in my opinion.

So why would someone get asked in the interview as to why they obtained a degree if Delta dropped the degree requirement? As if the degree was obtained that recently. Kind of a strange question to ask. Doesn’t Delta value education?

Airline interviews are a hazing process, none of it matters as long as you pass, regardless of what the retired captain interview dorks and HR people say. Just do your prep, get the job, and move on, none of it matters after that. |
