Does anyone know the process if you aren’t successful at the interview? What’s is the process? When do they bring you back? Do you have to take the Aon again?

Anyone else here interviewing on 7/18? I'm staying at the Hilton across the street if anyone wants to get together.

One day to three months… There is myriad information about timelines on this thread and others. Best of luck.

What are class dates are people getting right now? CJO 7/12, cleared pre employment today. Was told mid September in the interview but hoping to get in something a bit earlier since I seemed to move through the background check process quite a bit quicker than they said.

Seems most have been between 45-60 days from CJO to class date.

For reference, this week they sent out invites for 29 August, so about 6 weeks ahead of class start date right now.

Default Swapping Airplanes

Is it possible to swap to a different airplane during training. For example, awarded the 320 but wanted to put a bid to get the 330?
Or do you have to wait till your 2 year seat lock expires before you can swap

Short answer, no

long answer, You are hired with a 2 year seat lock starting day 1 of indoc, it can be broken for 3 reasons

1) you take your first upgrade at DL, in which case your new seat lock is added to your old seat lock.

2) DL opens a new category and you are awarded it when it opens, you will just have a new seat lock, the time from your old does not add to the new seat lock

3) after 1 year you are unable to hold your current aircraft in your desired base, you can change planes with the remainder of your new seat lock added to your new hire seat lock.

the company is free to let you break a seat lock if they wish (they don’t normally do this, but they can) also if you are displaced you can go wherever your seniority can hold and will not incur a seat lock.
