Anyone know how Hiring’s been since the slowdown? Is Delta still planning on filling summer classes? I know AA is only doing the fall and United/Southwest have stopped completely

Our latest update from the union shows that we've hired 566 pilots this year through the March 27 class. The company has most recently been on record stating a desired hiring target of 1100 for the full year. That was before they announced that they were bringing every last 717 still parked back into service this year, so that number may bump up some. So by the time May hits we're on track to have hired ~700 people, with only 400 left to hire over an 8 month time span. That math works out to a 50/month average. The summer months may be even lower with the fall classes bumped up closer to 70.

United is still sending Hogan invites and doing interviews every week. Where are you getting your UA info from?

With flow, you can take 20/month off the hiring for OTS people. It's going to get very competitive.

Default WAI Callbacks?

Wondering if anyone has heard back, or knows anyone who has heard back from meet & greets at the WAI conference?

What did you put as your availability date? Just trying to gauge. Right now I have 6/1 as my availability date. Wondering what to expect for interview purposes.

2 weeks notice for me. The hiring manager said 12 weeks for all of us. Said maybe one or two might get in the end of May but he doubts it. Said mid to late June at the soonest.

Thanks for the intel. So sounds like mid to late summer to fall for class for everyone who’s still waiting to get an interview…most likely
